This place is good. Called in an order and they said 10 minutes. Got there 10 minutes later and they finished it just as I paid. $12 for a large general tso tofu and it's definitely two meals. The sauce isn't as spicy or tangy as I prefer it but still solid.
It's my first time trying the New China King. I always get the General Tao's when I want Chinese. I'm basic that way. The food was reasonably priced at under $12 with tax, and I had my meal in under 10 minutes. The food was so fresh and hot that I had to let it cool off for a few minutes! I was given some duck sauce, so I applied it and made a small mess on my hands. The one recommendation I have is to include a napkin next time. The food was good. I would come again. I thought the chicken was very good, and the sauce was robust, but not the best I've had. I will keep coming back because it is so close to my home and my usual place is closed on Sundays.
We hadn't been in for awhile and stopped last night after a bad experience at Jersey Mike's. Everything was even better than I remembered. The new store decor is a welcome change from the "pandemic booth" and the food was outstanding. Quick service and ample portions at a fair price. Can't wait to visit again. Well done!
Always delicious and fresh food! My family has been coming here for almost 15 years and its our favorite spot! The chicken with broccoli add garlic sauce, spare ribs or boneless, chicken wings/shrimp are always our go to!
We really enjoyed our food from this restaurant! The chicken and mixed veggies was very flavorful. I loved the fried rice and veggies - the chicken was ok, it had a very soft texture. The doughnuts were amazing and very fresh! It only took 10 mins to get our food. It is also generous portions for a small price. We will definitely be visiting New China King again.
10/12/16: Love this place :) always going here with my boyfriend and we always order the fried shrimp! Biggest recommendation! And that lemonade too! UPDATED REVIEW JANUARY 6, 2018: Still can't beat it, my parents owned a Chinese restaurant on mills and I've been trying to find Chinese food like theirs ever since! New China King is the closest I could find! Been going here for 4 years now and I still love their lemonade and fried shrimp! My boyfriend has a new favorite, General Tso Chicken! I had to put him onto that!
